At Gateway, our adult rehabilitation center offers opportunities for men and women to participate in co-ed groups. High-quality adult rehabilitation services afford the freedom to learn how to develop healthy relationships with people from varying backgrounds and life circumstances. The benefits of learning from each other while growing and advancing in their own recovery is important. It’s one more way we are delivering addiction treatment programs that transform people.
Our Adult Rehabilitation Programs offer immersive and compassionate care to meet all of your individual needs.
Sometimes referred to as inpatient drug rehab, Residential Addiction Treatment involves 24/7 support and supervision. Not only does this allow men and women to develop a level of accountability, but it also allows them to focus on the addiction recovery process without distraction. Our clinical team determines the length of a patient’s stay at a Gateway residential adult rehabilitation center based on numerous factors, including substance abuse history, physical health, and mental stability. After completing treatment at one of our therapeutic residential settings, patients generally transition into one of our Outpatient Programs as they continue on the road to recovery.
Some situations call for more intensive treatment without the restrictions of Residential adult rehabilitation services. In these cases, Full-Day Outpatient Programs can be a viable option. Historically, patients have seen a tremendous benefit when they transition from Residential Treatment to Full-Day Outpatient Programs. As part of our Full-Day Outpatient Programs, Gateway also offers therapeutic services and education for loved ones. These services encourage families to learn more about their loved one’s addiction. Additionally, they also teach families how to provide a safe and loving home environment.
Involving 3 hours of treatment per day for 3-5 days per week, we offer Half-Day Outpatient Programs to give individuals the flexibility to attend to life’s responsibilities outside of treatment. This type of program works well for patients who have already graduated from a higher level of care—such as Residential Treatment or Full-Day Outpatient. For patients to receive the most benefit from Half-Day Outpatient Programs, they should already have a solid support system— both at home and through peers and counselors met in recovery. They should also have the ability to hold themselves accountable without 24/7 supervision. While most insurance providers cover our Half-Day Outpatient Programs, our admissions specialists can easily verify your insurance.
After graduating from prior levels of care, General Outpatient Programs serve as a long-term resource for patients in recovery. Group and individual treatment sessions take place once per week at Gateway locations. With several convenient locations in Illinois, Gateway can customize treatment based on work or school schedules based on need.
Recovery Homes can be a tremendous benefit for individuals on the path to addiction recovery. Not only are these Recovery Homes safe and cost-effective, but they also provide a sober environment for individuals to build on their recovery. Gateway also offers Outpatient Treatment while individuals stay at Recovery Homes, ensuring that patients can establish and maintain a supportive recovery network.
Gateway understands that addiction recovery is an ongoing process requiring ongoing support and focus. For this reason, we offer an immersive Alumni Recovery Community. Individuals who graduate from our addiction treatment programs will have access to lifelong support. These resources include ongoing evidence-based counseling, beneficial social activities, and educational services to promote a sustainable recovery.
